Chat Sport Project
About the product
ChatSport is a sports course management platform designed to improve how German universities organize and offer university sports programs to students.
The platform enables universities to create and manage sports courses, handle bookings and payments, schedule sessions, and manage participant lists, while giving students a simple way to discover and book available courses.
This project is under NDA, so only selected information and approved materials can be shared. The platform is currently used by universities in Germany, with additional universities adopting the solution.
My role
I was responsible for the end-to-end design process, including customer and stakeholder meetings, user research, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, UI design, interactive prototyping, and usability testing.
I also became the first designer at UniNow to establish a Design System, creating reusable components and patterns to improve consistency, scalability, and collaboration across the product.
Main Project Goal
Many German universities rely on sports course management systems that are outdated, difficult to navigate, or lack essential functionality for both university administrators and students.
The goal of ChatSport was to create a modern and scalable course-management experience that simplifies the entire process—from universities setting up and managing courses to students finding, booking, and paying for them.

Complex workflows → Simplified experiences
I transformed complex course, scheduling, participant and payment processes into structured user flows based on research, customer meetings and usability testing.
Different universities → Scalable solution
I identified common patterns across university requirements and designed flexible workflows that could support multiple institutions rather than solving for a single customer.
Inconsistent UI → Design System
I initiated and built UniNow's first Design System, establishing reusable components and patterns that improved product consistency and scalability.
